Fango is excited to share the cover of our upcoming, limited edition “The Bloody Best of GOREZONE” magazine, a 76 page flashback to our beloved, short lived late 80’s/early 90’s horror rag that so many fans still worship to this day.

Curated by current FANGORIA editor Chris Alexander, “The Bloody Best…” showcases classic articles on films like Michele Soavi’s THE CHURCH, Scott Spiegel’s INTRUDER, Frank Henenlotter’s BASKET CASE 2, Amando DeOssorio’s BLIND DEAD movies, as well as vintage flashbacks of Tim Lucas’s groundbreaking Video Watchdog column and the late Chas. Balun’s gonzo Piece o’ Mind essays.

We also have new words from Lucas, former Fango and GZ editor Tony Timpone, current managing editor and Fango royalty Michael Gingold, plus a revived Make Up Effects Lab featuring director Robert Hall giving us a sneak peak of his upcoming CHROMESKULL: LAID TO REST 2.

“The Bloody Best of GOREZONE” will be sold EXCLUSIVELY at the 2011 San Diego Comic Con (at the Fango booth, natch) and then only from our website at

In the meantime feast your eyes on this cover, featuring an iconic and still revolting shot from Lucio Fulci’s 1980 Italian shock show CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD, itself celebrated by the brilliant Balun inside…
